Organised by Leeds College of Art, 100 Days, 100 Exhibitions is a series of one day exhibitions by contemporary artists spread over 100 days throughout Leeds. Work shown will range from major international artists to young unknowns and will cover every aspect of contemporary art. The shows will be documented in a catalogue, one page per artist. Envisaged as an annual event, 100 Days, 100 Exhibitions is the missing link between art exhibitions and art fairs.
The first 100 days will be during 2013, dates to be announced in the near future.
This is a unique opportunity to have a one person show, albeit for just a day but the event can only work with the help of those taking part – each artist will be prepared to help remove the previous artists work where necessary and will be responsible for invigilation on their particular day.
Exhibitions will be held in a wide range of locations throughout the city including Leeds College of Art and any artists interested in taking part should initially contact exhibitions@leeds-art.ac.uk to register their interest and to be sent an appication form.
